February was a month of traveling for us. We spent more days out of town, than in. With the weather here in Utah, there's not much appeal to stay in the area. There's only so much snow we can take. We hit up Atlanta at the beginning of the month, and then at the end of the month we made our way up to Idaho.
I'm kinda proud to say that it was quite a spontaneous trip...we kinda just decided to go and jumped in the car 30 minutes later and hit the road. Which is a big deal for this new Mommy. We ended up getting there at about 1:30am, which was perfectly fine with me because Rae slept the whole way! We were sad to leave Garrett behind, but studying with no distractions did him (and his grades) good.
Rae was spoiled by her Grandma and Grandpa, and Aunts and Uncles. One of my favorite parts of being a mom is seeing how many other people love my baby girl. It really just warms my heart.
We were able to go to Laren's baby shower, which was so much fun! And afterwards, Rae did a little fashion show of all the cute clothes her future little cousin got! That Baby Charles is going to be one well-dressed baby boy.
It was a pretty quick trip, but it was really nice to see family, have a change of scenery, and get a little help with Rae. I'm already anxious for our next trip home!
